This is a 38 year old female who desired to improve the appearance of her abdomen after pregnancy. She is shown one year after abdominoplasty. Note the vertical, midline scar at the lower abdomen – this can be necessary if the degree of tissue excess is not large enough to bring the upper incision above the belly button.
