Moving forward with surgery is a very personal choice and we believe that patients should be well-informed of their options, the expected benefits, and potential risks.
Blepharoplasty
Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, treats the excess skin and protruding fat of the eyelids. This manifests as redundant/hooding skin of the upper eyelids or “bags” under the eyes. As the skin and muscles around your eyes stretch with age, fat deposits under the eyelids also become more noticeable. Conservative removal of fat from these compartments can smooth the contour of the eyelids. The result of these procedures is a more rested and bright appearance.
Facelift
A facelift is a restorative, aesthetic procedure that removes unwanted skin and lifts the underlying soft tissue to reverse signs of aging. This surgery can reduce wrinkles and sagging skin in your mid and lower face, soften the nasolabial folds, and contour your cheeks, jowls, and jawline. A neck lift is often combined with a facelift to provide a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Fat transfer is also commonly utilized to restore lost volume in certain areas on the face. When a facelift is properly performed in the hands of an experienced surgeon, the results will last for many years.
Neck Lift
A neck lift is a surgical procedure that restores a youthful contour to the central and lateral neck. The goals are to redefine the jawline, improve jowling, remove fatty deposits under the chin, tighten loose skin, and correct banding of the platysma muscle. For some patients with concerns about their neck after weight loss or age-related skin changes, a neck lift can be truly transformative.
Brow Lift
Brow lift is a cosmetic surgery that tightens excess skin on the forehead and lifts the eyebrows to achieve a more youthful look. An endoscopic brow lift involves making small incisions within the hairline to lift the forehead tissue, ultimately to reshape the eyebrow contour and position. Delicate adjustments to the tissue creates a subtle, natural result that brightens the face.
Ear Surgery
Ear surgery is a broad term that, in the realm of aesthetic surgery, encompasses otoplasty (changing the shape of prominent ears) and earlobe repair (from trauma, stretching, or redundant tissue). An otoplasty involves contouring of the cartilage to recreate a proportionate ear shape. Earlobe repair is tailored to a patient’s anatomical presentation – ultimately with the goal of restoring a natural contour of the lobule.
Fat Transfer
Fat transfer, also known as autologous fat grafting, is a technique used to fill areas of volume deficiency on the body. Facial fat compartments decrease in size and descend with gravity as we age. When fat grafting is performed, tissue is harvested from a donor site on the body, processed, and carefully injected to improve facial contour. Commonly treated areas are the cheeks, temples, and nasolabial folds.
Laser Resurfacing
Many different types of laser therapy exist. For skin resurfacing, we may recommend treatment with the fractionated carbon dioxide (CO2) laser. This is an ablative laser than can achieve improvement in skin texture, fine wrinkles, and levels of collagen production.
Recovery and Results
It is important to understand the expected course of recovery after your facial surgery procedure. The details will be reviewed at your preoperative appointments and a postoperative care guide will be provided. You can expect to elevate the head at night and use ice frequently to reduce swelling, avoid strenuous activities for several weeks, and follow up with your surgeon regularly.

Arrange a Consultation
Our team is proud to spend an extended length of time with you to discuss facial surgery. A significant amount of trust is placed in the surgeon’s hands when these procedures are performed. Your physician should be a board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeon who involves you in the decision-making process, is transparent and realistic, and has a legacy of expertise.
